Are YOU Making These 7 Common Breakup Mistakes?

Text Message Terrorism

"I miss you."

"What are you up to?"

"Can we hang out?"

Or any variation thereof. Sending your ex girlfriend too many texts sends the wrong message. It says, "I'm available to take you back at the drop of a hat". And that's not the message you should be sending to the woman who just broke your heart.

Emotional Overload

Do you go into emotional breakdown mode whenever your ex girlfriend is around? Maybe you constantly bring up the breakup or find reasons to pick and fight about it. Whining over the smallest things or lashing out in anger.

Stop immediately. This type of behavior isn't going to re-ignite the flame that originally attracted her to you in the first place and will only make you look immature and unattractive.

The Logical Fallacy

Trying to use logic and "reason" with your ex girlfriend isn't going to bring her back. Promising you'll change isn't likely to bring you the results you desire.

Attraction just doesn't work that way and if there are enough problems in the relationship to warrant a breakup, it's time to start taking a look at yourself and the things that have changed since you first started dating.

Being Her Friend

This "tactic" can go several ways. You meet up with your ex under the guise of "staying friends" and then attempt to seduce or convince her back into a relationship. This will end with you either being "friends" with your ex girlfriend or the more likely scenario of becoming "friends with benefits".
